The "bashing" as you call it, was a reference to the fact that (as a person in the spotlight) he seemed whiney and aggravating to me. It's that simple. If any of the facts of the case mattered (as I think there is a lot to be said about how BOTH sides of this situation occurred), I would have referenced those facts in my post. I was quite adamently opposed to Mr. Speaker when everything first occurred, as you could find by doing a search for his name here on my site, but as time has passed, I have realized that like all other situations, this was a two way street of information, and both sides had their issues at the time. I understand and agree with you about the media distorting facts. Unfortunately that's what they do, because that's what people seem to want to hear these days. It would be nice to think that someone in the media could get back to reporting facts and leave it at that, but I'm afraid those days are long gone. We are now tasked with weeding through the crap they spew at us to find the truth, if there is any to begin with. What a load of SH*T. All of these wrong postings only feed the frenzy. I hope you are never in a situation where the media totally distorts the real facts and presents them as truths.
