Andy Irons Dies

Three-time world surfing champion Andy Irons, 32, died Nov. 2 at a Dallas area hotel, just days after telling tournament organizers in Puerto Rico that he had become ill during an event in Portugal.

Phil Irons confirmed his son's death. The cause was not immediately known. Andy Irons's wife, Lyndie, is expecting the couple's first child in December.

Rest In Peace, Andy.
