Francisco Aguabella, the Cuban-born percussionist whose Latin rhythms backed up Peggy Lee, Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Sinatra and Paul Simon, has died. He was 84.
His manager Orna Rachovitsky says Aguabella died Friday in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer.
