Aubrey Morris Dies

Aubrey Morris, a pioneer in Atlanta radio who interviewed eight presidents from Harry Truman to Ronald Reagan, has died. He was 88.
The longtime newsman had cancer and died Tuesday at his home in Milton, about 30 miles north of Atlanta, his nephew, Mike Morris, told The Associated Press.
Morris went to work for WSB-AM radio in 1957 and served as the station's first news director.

Visitation is set for Thursday at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell. A funeral is scheduled for Friday at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in Alpharetta, with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
