What Lies Ahead

After being laid off last year I had to make several quick decisions. The first, of course, was to look for more work. After looking for several months, with just two face-to-face interviews during that entire time, I decided I could probably do better on my own, running my own company.
It's been 12 months since I was laid off, and about 9 months since I started my company. Now I am giving more thought into obtaining an online degree, which I could do from the privacy of my own home, in my off hours.
Western Governors University stands out among the crowd as one of the finest online choices. They were founded in 1997 by 19 governors to expand access to higher education.
One interesting change, compared to other online universities, is their flat-rate tuition, which allows full-time students to accelerate at their own pace with no additional cost per term.
It's only a matter of time before the economy picks up again, and this time, I hope to be better prepared for what lies ahead.
