Frances Reid Dies

News broke early this morning on Twitter that Frances Reid, who portrayed Alice Horton on Days Of Our Lives since 1965, has passed away. I'll post more when I get details, but for now, let's remember Frances the way most of us will always remember her.

I started watching Days Of Our Lives when I was 10 years old. For thirty-five years Alice Horton has been like a third grandmother to me, and this morning I am saddened more than I could ever explain.
