    David Gerber, an award-winning television producer who worked on
    the 1970s hit “Police Woman,” has died. He was 86, his spokesman said Tuesday.

    Gerber died of heart failure at the University of Southern California Medical
    Center on Jan. 2.

    …

    His final TV movie was “Flight 93,” about the hijacked United Airlines flight
    that crashed into a Pennsylvania field on 9/11.
