The best explanation of the national debt that I have seen, and trust me, I have seen a lot of "explanations" out there. Just think, if the national debt was represented by something like area rugs, we would have enough to cover the earth several times over.

And it's not over yet. With the amount our President and Congress are spending right now, if we had flying carpets we'd have enough to get us to Mars and back with no problem.
