More Disappointed Than Ever

Up until today, I thought I could never be more disappointed with our President than I already am.

It's no secret that I did not support Barack Obama for President. All you have to do is look here, here, here, here, here, here, and here, to understand why I could not support him then. With the bailout fiascos (yes, started by Bush but multiplied by Mr. Obama), his proposed socialist policies in response to our economy, and his lack of respect for the office of the Presidency, I can not support him now either.

Yes, he is the President of the United States. Yes, he is our President. Yes, that makes him my President. That doesn't mean I have to toe some line to show him my undying gratitude or support. I do not think Barack Obama was ready to be President, and I still don't think he's ready. Today, I am more sure of that than ever before.

Miss Manners says,

Americans do not bow or curtsy to a foreign monarch because the gesture symbolizes recognition of her power over her subjects.

I knew this. Miss Manners knew this. Could someone tell me why President Obama and his entire staff did not know this?

Since taking office, President Obama has done everything he could to bring socialist programs to our government, he's done everything he could to trample our Constitution, and he's done everything he could to embarrass the United States on the world stage.

President Obama and his entire staff seem out of touch with reality. When President Clinton left office, his staff removed all the 'w' keys from the computer keyboards, did President Bush and his staff remove all the protocol documents and how-to manuals? It sure seems that way to me.

All this, and were not even 90 days into his presidency. I shudder to think what the next four years are going to be like.
