Lawmakers Look To Lose Elections

Oh no, the state is not making as much as those elected to office thought it would. What should they do, what should they do? Yes, forget about all the deadbeats that don't pay any taxes. Forget about the idea of a fair tax where EVERYONE pays their share in the purchase of new items. Let's nail the homeowners, because they haven't had it hard enough this year at all.

As the state legislature grapples with a two-billion-dollar budget shortfall, House leaders say they will back a proposal that could eliminate the homeowners property tax relief grant next year.

The grant reduces property taxes by $200 to $300 for each homeowner.

The proposal would not affect the funds for this fiscal year, but it would tie the tax relief grant to the growth in state revenue in the future.

The number one way to lose my vote in the next election, vote to do this.
