Irony

When I think of the Northwest, I think of environmentalists and treehuggers (sorry, but it's true). Imagine my surprise when I read the following story.

U.S. researchers say endangered orcas, or killer whales, living in Puget Sound are among the most contaminated marine mammals in the world.

One of the most concentrated areas of environmentalists live in and around one of the most contaminated areas. Interesting. Next they'll be telling me that there were no Fig trees in Eden and that global warming is just a joke.
