Keith Douglas Pruitt Dies

Composer and film and TV actor Keith Douglas Pruitt died in New York Nov. 12. He was 47.

Pruitt was a classical music composer and also acted in soap operas including "As the World Turns," "The Guiding Light" and "Loving."

He attended Duke U. and the City U. of New York Ph.D. Program, where he studied with Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Del Tredici.
