Many people have been affected by the economic downturn. People from all sectors of the workforce are finding themselves looking for work, or worrying that tomorrow may be their last payday.

Oh sure, the economy has had a hiccup, and things could get pretty abd, but things are not nearly as bad as some employers want you to think it is. I’m sure many of them are using this downturn as an excuse to make the cuts they wanted to make irregardless of the economy.

For some, this might be the perfect small business opportunity. Depending on how much you have to invest there are several different options you can choose from.

If I had $10,000 to $20,000 I would look into a franchise opportunity in my area because, even though the economy is struggling right now, it’s the perfect time to get into the business and put a solid foundation underneath a new growing company.

My brother-in-law is the smart one when it comes to business opportunities and marketing those opportunities. If anyone could start a Florida franchise it’s him. Me? I would love to give it my all up here in Georgia, and you never know, it could happen.
