When Character Matters

When you choose your friends, does character matter? If you were hiring someone to work for you, would you choose someone with questionable character? In short, does character matter?
The famous Greek philosopher, Aristotle, once said, “Character is that which reveals moral purpose, exposing the class of things a man chooses and avoids”.
If you find that a friend of yours has done something completely reprehensible, his character is defined by his choices and actions. His circumstance does not define your character, but your choice whether or not to continue to associate with him does. It’s up to you whether or not you allow his actions to tarnish your character.
If you sift through all the mumbo jumbo being spewed this campaign season, one thing remains true. Character is the primary issue in every election. Character does matter.

Yep, the characters do play an important roles, whether we're choosing friends or employees.
I bet we all didn't want to employ those workers that lazy and always late for work, isn't it?
