While reading the news today, I read this,

A group of armed robbers sporting what might have been Halloween masks barged into a metro-Atlanta Steak n Shake restaurant and pistol-whipped its employees.

Huh? "Sporting what might have been Halloween masks"? They couldn't tell? Were they held up by Hollywood make up artists? I don't get it. Is the reporter sure they found the exit sign and left the store? I mean, wow. Wasn't it a bit obvious they were wearing masks?
