Test Pattern #91: The Bail Out

Posted by Slobokan @ 03:41 · 170 words · print

Nancy Pelosi is questioning the patriotism of House Republicans.

This comes from the woman who hasn't upheld a single promise from the 2006 campaign, who has single-handedly controlled every piece of legislation that hit the House floor for the past two years, who closed down the House while you and I were paying more than $4 per gallon of gasoline, and when Congress came back from their five-week vacation, pushed her own energy bill on the American people.

Now, with the impending financial collapse of the stock market and banks on our doorstep, she wants to work with Republicans, who have been working for us.

They have been doing what they can to keep higher taxes out of our paychecks and $700 billion worth of useless bank notes off our tables.

Our Congress should be working to make sure this 'bailout' does not contain money for earmarks, rewards for executives, funds for ACORN, or raise our taxes.

To do so, would be unpatriotic.
