Introducing, The Golden Waffle Award

During the 2004 election cycle, I created the Civility In Politics Award.
During the election cycle there were several recipients, including Teresa Heinz-Kerry (the awards' namesake), John Kerry's Little People, John Edwards' Little People, Terry McAuliffe, John Edwards, Craig Fitzhugh (for mocking those with special needs), Joe Biden, University of Arizona Protestors, and most recently, Alan Colmes.
During the 2004 campaign, John Kerry changed his position on issues more times than not, and the term "waffle" became commonplace throughout the blogosphere. In light of all the waffling going on again during this campaign cycle, I have created a new award.
Introducing the 'Golden Waffle Award'.

If you're a political junkie like me, you know we have seen a fair share of waffles already this year, so I decided we needed a better way to point them out. Make sure to let me know if you catch a candidate waffling, and I'll make sure to give them one of these prestigious medals.
The first recipient, is none other than the man pictured in the waffle, Barack Obama. It seems Mr. Obama can't remember if he is for, or against, missile defense systems. You don't have to take my word for it, just listen to the man himself.
Congratulations Barack Obama! You make wafflers in all 57 states around the country very proud!
