There Are Pigs, Then There Are Pigs

This is my favorite cartoon from all of the sunday editorial cartoons.

I'm surprised PETA hasn't jumped on that whole lipstick on a pig thing. How degrading.

Then again, it depends on which pig you are talking about. There are hundreds if not thousands of different types of pigs. You need to be clear which type of pig you are referencing when you speak.

Of course, for the phrase to have maximum impact you need to make sure you target those who are most attracted to that type of pig in the first place. Make sure you have 'some pig' to work with, and your target audience will bow down on their knees the moment the lipstick is applied.

Now, can we just leave the pigs in their pen and start talking about the issues?

    Poor pig, even their are fat and cute, but people have no rights to use it as a metaphor, especially in the political stuffs!
