Do You Have Gas?

Posted by Slobokan @ 23:34 · 167 words · print

I was sitting here today, minding my own business when I saw a message on Twitter from @rm_blogger that some of our local gas stations were running out of gas.

Seeing that we have to go to the farmer's market out by the airport tomorrow, I needed to fill up, otherwise I would just wait to fill up. We filled up at the Flying J, because everyone else was out of gas at the time. We paid $4.07.

An hour later, we drove by the Flying J again (getting the things we needed for the weekend) and the price had already gone up.

The price of gas on Thursday was $3.67 per gallon. How in the heck does the price of gas go up 52 cents in one day, before the hurricane even caused any damage? That's like passing out football trophies before the game even starts. What gives?

Almost everyone is out of gas. Something isn't right here.
