Today was day 24 of the Republican 'staycation'.
Tomorrow is the last day of the House energy protest. One hundred thirty-five Republicans have been there. Discussing energy. Waiting to work.
House Democrats were nowhere to be found. Nancy Pelosi was out selling her book and enjoying her five-week vacation so they didn't bother to come back either.
Meanwhile, we have all been paying $4 per gallon for gasoline. Maybe I should write a book.
