Proving true to their word, the House Republicans held two news conferences today. One from the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, and the other from the U.S. House of Representatives.
One hundred thirty-four members of the House Republican Conference have stayed in Washington or returned to speak on the House floor about the American Energy Act and solving America’s energy situation.
If I had a Democratic member of Congress representing me, I would be really pissed off. Since August 1, not one Democrat has been seen on the House floor. While I was paying $4.00 per gallon for gasoline, they were partying their asses off in Denver at their convention.
It’s no wonder our government is in the shape it’s in, especially if the House leadership handled every other issue like they are handling the energy debate.
Things have been moving so fast this week with Convention coverage, I have thought about getting a flat panel mount so I can put one monitor on the wall in front of me and watch the other one at the same time.
