Again. Where Is The Change?

For the past few months, make that the past few years, I have heard about (and seen) the Bush administration trampling on our rights. It turns out that trampling on our rights is a bi-partisan opportunity.
Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic Senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown's Palace Hotel.
Taking photographs from a public sidewalk is not against the law. It is not illegal. What (or who) exactly was the Brown Palace Hotel trying to protect from the prying eye of the camera? We'll never know because Denver police chose to violate the rights of Asa Eslocker to prevent that from happening. Maybe the police officers should quit and go find jobs in Los Angeles or something?
