Test Pattern #59: Don’t Go

August 1, 2008 was an historic day in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi adjourned the House for a 5-week vacation, but some members were not ready to leave. Republican members of the House remained on the floor to discuss domestic drilling and alternative energy solutions.

We cannot acheive energy independence if the House can’t even bring the subject up for debate on the House floor. We need energy reform in America, and we need it now.

It’s time to cancel vacations and come back to work.
