No Shoes, No Problem. Just Deal

As I have said in the past, when I lived in Las Vegas I used to spend a fair amount of time in the casinos. I never spent more than I could afford, and I always played within my limits, because I didn't want to get myself into trouble with finances. Heck, I had enough trouble with finances being young and stupid, I sure didn't need to add anything to it, that's for sure.

Since we moved to Georgia, I haven't played in an actual casino, at all. It's kind of weird really. I don't miss it, but I know I would have fun if I was able to. A while back I logged into a Texas Holdem poker site to check things out. I found the whole online thing almost as interesting as actually being there.

While I didn't actually play in a Texas Holdem poker game online, I realized that it would be very easy to do so. They make it easy for you. Just like a real casino, you just have to show up to play.

I know a few people who play online Texas Holdem regularly, and they have invited me to play from time to time. I just might take them up on it, next time. The best part for me? I don't have to wear shoes to meet up with them. Ha!
