Is There A Better Health Plan Out There?

For the past ten years my family has been insured by a company that is out of state from where we live, through the company I work for. Because I telecommute, I am not located in the same state as the company, but I am subject to the same benefits packages the other employees have.

This is not always a good thing, because the health insurance does not have the same coverage here in Georgia as it does where the company is located. Things are changing though. Starting with our renewal period, I will be permitted to find health insurance converage that is not only better for our area, but possibly more affordable. Since the company pays half of my health insurance premiums, it's a win-win for both sides.

One place I am checking for coverage is though Kaiser Permanente in Georgia. They offer a wide range of choices and many of them appear to be more affordable than what I already have through our existing plan. The process for getting a free quote was quite painless as well. Upon visiting the page for kaiser health insurance I just entered my physical details, the wifes, and the kids, and I had four quotes in a matter of seconds.

The coverage I have now doesn't pay much at all when we need to obtain services, so it's imperative that I find another plan. Having services like that available online makes searching for better health insurance that much easier, as I am not trapped on the phone talking to someone who is constantly trying to sell me something.
