An Extra Day Off Means Work For Me

With the holiday weekend approaching, I will have some time to do a little work around the house. While you will find the wife working outside in the garden, I will be working on some things that have been "road blocks" on my honey do list. One involves a water line and the other involves shower chairs.
The first thing I will work on is the hot water line to the washing machine. The water never seems to get too hot, and that just does not do when you are washing whites. I am hoping the water line is just kinked, then it will be an easy fix, not really a roadblock.
The second thing I will work on, is designing the downstairs shower. We are trying to make the bathroom in the basement as accessible as possible, we even want to put in a walk in shower with a chair. Do you know how many different shower chairs are out there? We have spent months trying to decide how to layout the shower, and the choices for chairs is out of this world.
Hopefully, by the time June 1st rolls around, we will have picked a design, picked a chair, and have the tools we need to run the water lines for the shower. Now I'll just need another holiday weekend to get started on that job!
