My Mouse Is Dying

Earlier this week my optical mouse started acting up. I have no idea what's wrong with this one, but it seems to be "non-responsive" a lot lately and I think it's time to get a new one. I have had trouble off and on over the course of the past two years with three different ones I have used with my computer systems.
Since I travel for the job, I like to use a wireless optical mouse if possible, because then I don't have to get used to a different feel when I moved from my laptop to my desktop system, and it's easy to switch systems by plugging in the usb receiver.
I don't know what it is about the computer mouse but I have been having a heck of time getting one that feels right, and works consistently. This week, I have my eyes on the argus notebook optical wireless USB mouse over at buy.com.
