Jimmy Carter Says Dictators Are Special

I wasn't going to do another post tonight about Jimmy Carter's visit to the Middle East, but I saw a quote fly by on Twitter that blew me away.
You are not going to believe what he said over the weekend. First he says,
"In a democracy, I realize you don't need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels"
Then he goes on to say,
"When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that's the dictator, because he speaks for all the people"
Those words actually came out of Jimmy Carter's mouth. He actually said when he visits a dictatorship he doesn't have to talk to anyone else about how the country feels because the dictator speaks for all the people. Of course they do, they're frickin dictators you moron!
Let's refresh here. A dictator is someone who exercises absolute power, someone who has absolute, unrestricted control in a government. A dictator orders people how to act, orders them how to conduct themselves, and tells them what to say when asked about how they feel.
Dictators don't go around spreading the love, and I doubt anyone gets them any gold watches when they "retire".
Of course, Jimmy Carter wouldn't know any better since he doesn't feel the need to talk to anyone else because the dictator can answer for everyone in the country.
I want to give special thanks to @lesliecarbone on Twitter for the heads up on this one.
