Do Endorsements Matter At This Point?

What good is it to endorse someone for President when they're pretty much a shoe in? Isn't that like betting on the only horse in a race? What synaptic act caused such a decision?

I like Fred. I wanted Fred to be our next President, but I can't stand the way people, like Fred, are coming back out the woodwork now to endorse John 'Big Mac' McCain.

One thing for sure, it just proves what people already know. When it comes to crunch time, the Republicans definitely know how to toe the party line, and quickly.
