A Social Network For Your Pet

It seems like everyday there is a new social networking site that announces they are in "beta", and most people end up waiting months for an invite to join these semi-exclusive parties only to find that the only people they know at the new site is everyone they already knew through the countless other sites they joined.

Enter Anamigo.

Anamigo is the social network for pets and their owners. How cool is that? While many social networks have their cliques where some people have the same interests and others have different interests, everyone who signs up on Anamigo is an animal lover.

Anamigo held their launch party at the Sundance Film Festival, and who showed up? All the cool kids, duh. Even Paris Hilton made an appearance.

After reading about Anamigo, I decided I wanted to be one of the cool kids and I signed up. The registration process was easy, and I didn't need an invitation to join. Registration is open for all pet lovers. All the cool kids get in, well, the animal loving ones do anyway, so now I am the new cool kid on the block.

Once I finished signing up I was able to create a profile for myself and for our dog, Flash. I still need to create one for Stitches, but I will take care of that tomorrow. I spent far too much time on the site, and Flash kept panting over my shoulder. I think he found more than his fair share of friends for one night.
