Giving Thought To Publishing My Books

Many years ago, I used to write poetry. I wrote nearly every day. Sometimes I would write five or six time s a day. Writing was the tool I used to vent my frustrations, voice my pleasure, and most of all, share my deepest thoughts. I loved writing back then. In fact, I wrote so much poetry that I had enough poems to fill two small books.

At the time I knew nothing about How to Publish a Book and it showed. I spent countless hours putting the manuscripts in perfect form and sending them off to be seen by Book Publishers. Little did I know I was supposed to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if I wanted it back when they rejected it. Which all of them did. No one, beside my family and friends, thought my books were worth publishing, so I decided to learn what I could and do it myself.

After many more hours studying at the library I was finally able to put them together and get them bound at a local printer. The cost was outrageous and they weren’t even “pretty”. I was so discouraged. At the time there were no easily accessible services, like 48HrBooks.com, which takes your book and prints it, binds it, and sends it back to you within 2 business days. Damn! I really could have used them back then.

About six months ago I found my original manuscripts, and decided I would like to have them published. I know longer have to worry about knowing everthing there is to know about Book Publishing either, because 48HrBooks will take care of it for me.
