Scoble Talks Integrity
In Robert Scoble’s latest post regarding the whole Gizmodo kerfluffle at CES, he states,
Funny, back in journalism school I was taught that journalists were supposed to report the news, not make it.
But now I guess we’re in a new world of the blogosphere. I call it “the stuntosphere.”
Just for the record, Gizmodo was credentialed at CES as journalists, not bloggers. So the blogosphere has nothing to do with their stupid stunt. Sure, there are a lot of stupid people in the blogosphere, but don’t blame the blogosphere for all the stupid people at Gizmodo.
Robert also says he wants off the “new ethical journalism” bus.
Personally, I think he jumped off the ethical bus a couple weeks ago when he intentionally broke the terms of service at Facebook, but that’s just me.

[...] Robert Scoble commits the biggest ethical faux pas with the Facebook incident, and then has the nerve to talk about ethics. [...]
