Today Was A Computer Day

What a day it was today.

I spent my morning helping Gidget sort through over 1500 emails she received since last Monday. With everything going on around here, she forgot to check her email, and when she sat down this morning, she got the shock of her life. We thought she had all of her anti spam filters in place, but apparently we forgot a few, huh?

When we got done sorting through all her mail, I sat down at my computer to look up the anti-spam service I used to use, a few years ago. She doesn’t want to use spam assassin or any of the other ones we have available on our server because it ends up with too many false positives and it’s a headache for her to go through them that way as well.

The service I used to use would catch the spam messages, and it also had an option for email archiving which would be very convenient for her, because she always ends up deleting something important, and wondering later where the darned thing went. Hopefully she wont get thousands of emails again any time soon, but if she does, I want her to be ready for them.
