I Spent A Lot Of Money This Year

I haven't seen too many reports on holiday sales yet, but hopefully the retail industry did good this Christmas holiday season. I know I spent a little more than I had planned this season, of course part of that was the $400 plus I spent getting my tooth worked on.

I could see where people could get into a lot of trouble spending during the holiday season. I was young and stupid once and filed personal Bankruptcy but it had nothing to do with holiday shopping.

I spent money on things that were a total waste. I bought items I really didn’t need. I drank, I gambled, I spent, and I lost it all. It didn't take long at all for me to contact a good Bankruptcy Attorney to guide me through the process.

Since then, I have been lucky (and smart). I now follow a budget (much like my mother taught me), and although I try real hard to overspend (heck, it's easy sometimes), I do what I can to keep my finances in order.
