Ready For The Fat Man In The Red Suit

This past weekend, I finished putting up the Christmas lights outside. It took an act of Congress to get it all done too.

Last year, as I took down the lights, I double checked that they all worked, wrapped them individually, and packed them up for the season. When I took them all out this past week, half of the lights did not work. They were dead. Completely.

Needless to say, I had to run out and buy more lights, and soon I will have pictures up. I was thinking of taking video one night too, which might be easier. Maybe one year I will get ambitious and do something like this:

Oh, I almost forgot. When I was putting the last of the decorations up, I noticed that the screws on the left side of our mailbox are all gone. What the heck is that about? Now I have to look at new mailboxes before the one I have completely falls apart.
