Checkin’ The Stats - November 2007

What the heck happened to November? I think time actually speeds up as we near the Christmas holiday or something. Seriously, I just don’t have enough time, and it seems to be going much too fast as it is.

Let’s take a look at the stats for November.

The top 10 referring blogs (other than Technorati, StumbleUpon, and BlogExplosion) for November were:

Genki Desu Yo!
Real Clear Politics
Musing Minds
Charlotte Wyatt
Insignificant Thoughts
Sister Toldjah
Michelle Oshen
The Soda Stand
Shadowscope
Radio Blogger

The top 10 search terms that brought people here in November were:

hamachi service (highly recommended)
aqua dots (don’t eat them!)
warren savage (anchor turned junkie)
schtuff (hmm, interesting choice for a search)
fudc (yeah, uh huh)
beth holloway twitty (still searching for answers)
natalie holloway (still missing)
fred ball (may he rest in peace)
howdy dowdy (haha, that was a long time ago)
george osmond (may he rest in peace)

The top three search engines sending traffic my way were Google, Yahoo! and Ask.

The busiest day of the week was Thursday. The busiest time of day was 3:00pm EDT, and the busiest day of the month was the 8th.

Internet Explorer usage dropped from 61.1% to 50.6%, which is the new record low (the previously low was 52% set in August of 2006). I still recommend Firefox over Internet Explorer.

The top ten countries (after .com, .net, and .edu domains) for October were:

Norway (.no)
Canada (.ca)
European Union (.eu)
Germany (.de)
China (.cn) ** Still not banned I guess
Australia (.au)
Great Britain (.gb)
Denmark (.dk)
Brazil (.br)
Netherlands (.nl)

The top ten individual pages people came to see (excluding the main index and rss feeds) were:

Running Hamachi As A Service
Aqua Dots Are Dangerous*
Dreaming Of Sugar Sand Beaches
Posting From The Wing
Menu Foods Still Losing Money*
TB Andy questions The Motives Of Possible Victims
Pet Toothpaste Contains Diethylene Glycol*
Beth Holloway Twitty Returns Home
One Million Pounds Of Beef Recalled*
Inline Pingbacks And Trackbacks

* Four of these posts were written during November. The record for posts in the top 10 from the most recent month is 7, in July 2007 & September 2007.

The top ten category pages were:

Natalee Holloway
FYI
Rotten Stuff
Bloggage
Obituaries
Boycotts
Prattle
Personalized
Podcasts
Amber Alert

And now for the numbers.

I had 10,451 unique visitors, over 276,779 page views, over 437,055 hits, the average stay on the site was 2-5 minutes, and you helped me burn 12.88 GB of bandwidth.

Thanks for stopping by!
