Wrapping Up A Remodel

The wife has finally found the time to finish the master bedroom. I have no idea where she found the time, in between homeschooling the boys, canning all sorts of fruits and vegetables, keeping the house clean, doing the laundry and everything else she does around here on a daily basis.

She started the bedroom "remodel" several months ago, with a simple re-arranging of the furniture, then I had to take some furniture out and bring some other furniture back in. It was a time of great flux. She then decided the walls needed a new coat of paint and actually did all of the painting and trimming herself. She is very talented when it comes to that kind of stuff.

After changing the draperies and a few other items in the room, she finally convinced herself that she needed to look at new duvet covers, and eventually decided on a nice floral print for the bed.

So, now that the remodel is done you'd think she'd be ready for a rest, right? Well, you would be mistaken. She'll be ready for her next project before the end of the week, and I hear that one involved wood and electric saws.http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat_printed-duvet-covers.php

I have been banned from doing stuff like that. I'm only permitted to do one room in the house at a time and ONLY ONCE while living here. My DH got sick of coming home to rearranged furniture (which I would do while he was at work by calling a male friend to come over and do the heavy lifting for me cause I knew the DH wouldn't do it without a fight *smirk*), the walls redecorated, etc. Drove him nuts, to say the least. I tried to explain to him that being a SAHM means boredom from lack of change. So we change what we have control of – the rooms in our house!! I'm sure your DW appreciates the fact that you allow her such creative freedom. :)
