I'm Sitting Here Pain Free

About 10 years ago, while working as a waiter at a hotel/casino in Laughlin, Nevada, an overzealous busboy ran me down coming out of the kitchen while I was holding a full tray of food. As I fell to the ground I did my best to save as much of the food as I could, but I ended up twisting my back pretty bad, and it just hasn't been the same ever since that night. The pain is usually no more than a dull ache, but some nights it really acts up.

Recently, I have began having problems with my left shoulder. I am not sure what's causing the pain, whether it's arthritis, bursitis, or what, and I haven't had time to visit the family doctor to find out exactly what it is. One thing though, when it hurts, it really, really, hurts. To the point that I cannot lift with my left arm at all without shooting pain in my shoulder.

Tonight, I had the opportunity to try Freeze It, a topical pain relief gel for muscle, joint, and arthritis pain. All I can say is, "Wow!". I can't tell you well it worked. I have tried a number of over the counter products, as well as some homeopathic linaments, and while some of them dulled the pain for an hour or so, none of them really seemed to have long lasting effects on the pain.

It's been three hours since Gidget applied the first sample pack to my shoulder and the second to my back, and I am actually sitting here completely pain free for the first time in a very long time. Freeze It contains aloe, vitamin E, and ilex, an herbal extract from South America, and does something none of the other pain relief products have done. It works. It's as simple as that.

Check out their commercial:

Freeze It is available at local pharmacies such as CVS, Eckerd, and Rite- Aid, as well as Publix supermarkets and Wal-Mart, and I am definitely grabbing some the next time I run to the store.

Works that well? Think it would work for me? I hate having to wear my TENs unit day in and day out. Is it a patch or just cream? I can't seem to wear most of the pain patches as it gives me a rash from the adhesive. But I would be willing to give it a try to see if this one is any different. Glad you found something to that works.

Oh, and I'll second Davey – topless content rules (although I prefer male topless content as I'm sure Davey prefers female?)

It definitely would be worth the try, that's for sure.

When Gidget first put it on my back, it felt (and smelled) like someone was rubbing me down in spearmint. Then, as she rubbed it in, it got real warm, an intense heat that just took all the pain away. Just when I thought it would become a bit uncomfortable, the intense part went away, and this morning, as of 10:45 I am still pain free in my shoulder, my back however hurts again, but I expected that. I bet if I put a little more on today it would go away again.
