One Vacation, To Go Please

I think I mentioned the other day that I will be taking some time off in October to move my mom across country. With all my vacation talk lately, it dawned on me that the only two times I have taken vacations in the past four years were to move people. To top it all off, I found out the boss is off this week, spending his time at the beach. Wonderful.
A couple years ago, he and his family went to Bermuda. He loves it there, and even though he is not the vacation type either, he said he would actually pay to go there again. His family had a great time, and they are planning a return trip soon.
I would love to go there for the food. Yes, I am a food junkie, if you didn't already know that. I would love to visit Coconuts and try the contemporary Bermudian foods. While many people might be content to sitting at the beach soaking up the sun, I would be perfectly happy hopping from restaurant to restaurant trying all of the different cuisines I cannot find in North Georgia.
Of course, the wife loves the beach, and I am sure if we made it to Bermuda that's exactly where you would find her for the entire trip. I think she used to be a fish in a past life because she seems like she's right at home in the water. Bermuda's pink sand beaches would intrigue her, so I would definitely have to get some of my food "to-go". I wouldn't want her spending all that time alone on the beach.
Anyway, as I sit here tonight and map the route I will be driving cross country, I can't help but dream of a weekend getaway to Bermuda.
