A Site To Remember

With the project at work taking up so much of my time lately, I haven’t been able to keep up with all of the blogs in my rss reader, so I decided to take some time this evening to do a little catching up.

While going through my list, I realized that I hadn’t been to Shadowscope in quite some time. As a fellow Libertarian I get a kick out of some of this posts, and I love the fact that he doesn’t cover just one topic on his blog. So many of the one-topic blogs get boring quick, so unless I want to read something about that topic, why bother?

Shadowscope is one of the few sites that I would normally visit every day, so it took me quite a while to get caught up on all of the new posts over there. One of the best qualities of Shadowscope is Richard’s very direct and blunt approach on every topic he brings up. I never know what Richard will be talking about from day to day, unless it’s thursday of course, then I know it’s time for Thursday Thongs. Who would want to miss that?

Not only is Richard a Libertarian (like me), but he also has three kids (like me, except one of his is old enough to join the Marines), he’s in his 40’s (I’m probably older, with my luck), he likes to make money blogging (like me), and he’s a fellow Georgia blogger, well I think he is anyway. He has a boatload of Georgia bloggers in his “Bloggers I’ve Met” section, and he talks about driving to one of his stores in Alabama, so he’s gotta be close.

Hopefully I can keep the day job hours down to their normal 60 this week so I don’t get so far behind again anytime soon.

I think we actually live fairly close to each other actually, judging from some of your posts that I’ve read before. I run three restaurants in Villa Rica and live just west of there.
