The Cable People Pipe In

Wow. People are fast these days.

Just minutes after posting about the fact that our local cable company does not have a line running down our street, I got three, yes three, responses from readers, telling me all about Comcast Cable Deals in our area, and the fact that they plan to run lines in our area very soon.

If I knew all I had to do to get the blazing fast high speed interent and hdtv from Comcast was to blog about it, I would have done so a long time ago. I looked at the page of Comcast Cable Offers and was quite impressed actually. My current bill for television, phone, and dsl service amounts to much more than what Comcast would charge me for a bundled package. Not only could I get a faster internet connection, but I could save money at the same time. I like the sound of that.

We had Comcast Cable at our old house and never had a problem with it. I was quite disappointed when we moved in here and I found out I would need to get DSL. No matter what anyone else says, DSL is NOT as fast as a cable modem, at least it never has been anywhere I have ever been.
