Flushing Out The System

I first heard about chelation therapy when a friend of ours mentioned he had tried it, and that his cholesterol levels dropped dramatically. Years ago, he had undergone angioplasty and then open-heart bypass surgery, but even with all that, his cholesterol levels were always high, his energy level was always low, and he had a hard time focusing on anything for any length of time.
The whole time he was talking about the whole chelation process, and how it works, I could feel my own arteries hardening. I am surprised they didn't just shrivel up and collapse at that very moment.
Chelation therapy basically cleans your blood. Using a synthetic amino acid called ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid (EDTA), oral chelation works when the EDTA is absorbed into the bloodstream and binds itself to heavy metals (such as lead) which are present in the blood. In fact, the first use of chelation was to treat people exposed to high levels of lead. It is believed that EDTA also attaches itself to free radicals as well as calcium and other minerals. The EDTA is then flushed out through the body, leaving your arteries and veins much more refreshed and invigorated.
Cardio Restore offers information on oral chelation, such as it's history, how it works, and its overall effectiveness. They also offer oral EDTA chelation at a very reasonable price. If you're interested in chelation therapy, at all, I highly suggest you visit their site. It sure opened my eyes, just think what it can do for my arteries!
