I Can Feel The Freedom Already

The day is almost here. On August 11th, my contract with T-Mobile is up. That means I have a decision to make.
Do I stick with T-Mobile, which overall has been good to me, or do I switch to another cellular provider, like AT&T which has better coverage at my house, so I could actually use my cellphone at home?
What about those pay-as-you-go plans I hear so much about?
Decisions, decisions.
In my opinion they all have pros and cons.
If I chose T-Mobile, I stick with a company whose customer service has been spot on, but I lose coverage the moment I walk through the door. If I choose AT&T, I would have better coverage and be able to use my phone from inside my house, but then all my eggs, so to speak, would be in one basket.
The last option, a pay-as-you-go plan from Ventus Telecom would be more affordable, as I would only pay for the small bit that I use the phone, but they have live flight information, I could get an International SIM card just in case I have to travel for the day job, and they are 85% cheaper than T-Mobile for international calls. I would save a ton going with them
My contract may be up in three days, but I am going to take a few extra days to decide exactly which path to take.

I know Vinnie’s position on this, but we are huge Verizon fans - very loyal. We’ve had Verizon for 5 years now and would never ever consider going anywhere else. yes, they are a little pricey, but we have never had a problem with dropped calls or not being able to get a signal no matter where we are at. I know some of their practices aren’t customer friendly, or at least what some would consider so, but they have been great to us. And so far, everyone we know that has had Altell, ATT/Cingular, and Sprint was so unhappy and not satisfied - they switched to Verizon and have had no complaints.
this is not to sell you on Verizon. It’s just to let you know that every company does have their quirks and problems. For me personally it’s the pricing. Other than that, I’ve been very satisfied with them. :) I hope you get a good carrier - one that you like and that meets your needs as a customer and person who does have to be on the move.

I had Verizon before T-Mobile, and I switched for 2 reasons. The first was coverage. T-Mobile actually works outside my door, Verizon did not (at the time). The second was the price.
I am not even considering Verizon at this point because of the hell I went through before I switched to T-Mobile. But like you said, every company has their issues and every customer has their opinion.
Still not sure what I am doing yet though.
