Okay, so what’s wrong with this article?

A Villa Rica home under construction in the Reserve at Brandywine Lake subdivision won’t pass final inspection anytime soon after a car allegedly took out a corner of the house Monday morning while trying to escape police.

According to Villa Rica Police Capt. Brian Camp, officers received a call about 3:30 a.m. that someone was illegally entering an automobile. Officers arrived to find a car matching the description, but it allegedly began to flee when they tried to stop it.

Before the chase could leave the subdivision, the car crashed into a home under construction at Lot 152 on Corkscrew Way, causing severe damage to the structure of the house, according to police.

    Did you catch it?

Hmm. No? Then take a look at this screenshot from the photo link:

    Anything seem “off” to you?

I think maybe the newspaper is afraid they will get sued by the car?

“…after a car allegedly took out a corner of the house…” I think it’s plain to see the car did in fact take out the corner of the house, and maybe, just maybe the paragraph under the photo should read,

Windows and siding hang off a home on Lot 152 on Corkscrew Way in Villa Rica after a driver crashed early Monday morning while allegedly trying to flee police. What do you think?
