What To Get A Boat Crazy Kid For His Birthday?

Our middle child's birthday is just over one month away, and we are once again facing the dilemma of what to get him for his birthday. Last weekend he surprised us all, when he became the first of our three to learn how to swim. We thought the mere fact that he learned how to swim would be exciting enough, but his first words when he was swimming were "NOW I CAN GO ON A BOAT!!!!". You see, a friend of ours has a boat and has promised to take us all out on the boat once all three of the boys learn to swim. This kid absolutely love boats, he even has Model Ships in his room.

One place I found tonight while looking for those perfect Nautical Gifts for a soon to be eight year-old, was Go Nautical Gifts. They have everything you could think of, and I found a couple items that will be just perfect for him. I gave it some serious thought and ended up passing on the brass ship bell because even though it would go with the Nautical Decor of his bedroom, I don't think he could refrain from ringing it while I was trying to work during the day.
