I'm Lucky So Far

At 42 years of age, I consider myself extremely lucky. You see, both of my grandfathers had no hair on the top of their heads. Oh sure, they had the band around the base but the top was as blas as could be. As for me? Luckily I still have hair.

I do have a small "balding" spot on the top of my head towards the back, but I think that's more from wearing my NASCAR caps than anything else.

Losing your hair can be a huge ordeal for a man, in fact, I know two people who are suffering from hair loss in florida. One is a friend of my wife's and the other is my wife's brother. I don't know if either one of them have ever thought about hair transplantation, but if I were to suddenly go bald, I think I might be inclined to go for it.

That option wasn't available when my grandfathers were alive, and I can only wonder if they would have jumped at such an opportunity.
