Police have arrested a suspect in the abduction and slaying of 18-year-old Kelsey Smith. Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass says 26-year-old Edwin Hall of Olathe is in custody in Johnson County Jail pending formal charges. Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline says the state will ask for a 5 million dollar bond. Kline says Hall's first appearance may be tomorrow but is more likely to be on Friday. Earlier today, searchers found a body at Longview Lake near Grandview, Missouri, they believed to be that of Smith. She disappeared Saturday from a Target parking lot in Overland Park. Officers were searching at the lake after tracing signals from Smith's cell phone.
