Call Your Senators Now!

If you have put off calling them, today is the day to do it.

If you have already called them to voice your opposition to this bill, it's time to call them again.

Scary Harry (Reid) has a second cloture vote scheduled for 5pm today.

YOU MUST CALL YOUR SENATOR.

If the cloture vote fails this evening, the bill will most likely die in the Senate.

I just called mine. I was able to leave a message for Sen. Chambliss, but Sen. Isakson's voice mail was full.

Calling is easy. Just state your name, where you are calling, and tell the staffer that you want the Senator to vote "NO" on cloture on S. 1348. Focus your call on these points:

• Any "yes" vote on cloture on S. 1348 will be considered a vote in favor of amnesty (this vote will be graded by Americans For Better Immigration and will go permanently on their record at www.congressgrades.org).
• S. 1348 is an amnesty because it immediately rewards illegal aliens with residency and jobs. Their "adjusted status" comes before any enforcement triggers are met (they will never have to leave) and the "price" they have to pay for this amnesty amounts to about $5 a week. S. 1348 is a $5 amnesty.
• Please vote "NO" on cloture on S. 1348.
