BIRD FLU DISCOVERED IN WALES!!!
YIKES!
Well. Sort of. You know, it's a strain of bird flu. It's not the bird flu that has killed nearly 200 people around the world.
Scientists have discovered a low-risk strain of bird flu in Wales after veterinarians discovered dead chickens on a farm.
…
The source of infection by the H7N2 strain of avian influenza is being investigated and the 30 remaining birds on the farm have being slaughtered.
According to the veterinarian scientists, the H7N2 strain is a low pathogenic avian flu and different strain which has killed nearly 200 people, mostly in southeast Asia.
Just for the record, this same strain (H7N2) was found in Pennsylvania in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2001, and 2002, Virginia in 2002, and Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland in 2004.
While the H7 subtype transmits from person to person quite easily, there is still no evidence to suggest people have anything to worry about, yet.
Hang in there though, if they hypesters have their way, you'll die from the fear of bird flu long before it ever reaches your community.

Yes but the real question is this:
Will the Welsh farm be paid as much money, as was received by the infamous Bernard Matthews Turkey Farm Factory?
It is well known that if you get H5N1 infection in your "factory Farm" the British tax payer gives you lots of money.
So how much would the welsh farm with it's infestation of the Bird-flu (light) receive?

Wow, that's a good question… If the farms receive money when birds are culled because of H5N1, they should be compensated the same for those infected with H7N2, especially since H7N2 actually transmits human to human.
