I Have My Own Magic Numbers

There is a lot of hype today about the release of the HD-DVD AACS Processing Key number.

Apparently the posting of this number, which allows a hacker to unlock copy-protected High-Def movies, is a big no-no. Since when are numbers dangerous? It sounds like a lot of hype to me.

Honestly, do you really think a simple number can change the world?

Well, I do. It's been done twice before that I know of.

In the 1970's, Deep Thought changed the world with the answer, 42.

And in the 1980's, Tommy Tutone changed the world with Jenny's phone number, 867-5309.

Together those two numbers could do a lot more damage than the HD-DVD AACS Processing Key number, thats for sure.
